Week 38

Hello beautiful people,
I deserve a medallion. I have officially survived the England winter, and we are in the lovely season of Spring. The British people will say that it was ‘mild’, but that is because they have acclimatized. I have attached a photo of Sister Tamayo and I in the sun, but don’t be deceived, it was still f r e e z i n g.

Last week for P-Day we travelled to Stoke… unfortunately, I was denied the privilege of going to Chester as it is outside our zone, however, the next best thing was Hanley. There is a Primark there, so that is a positive. We are going back again today, so I apologise for this email. I haven’t been the best at updating you all, but I promise that I will try harder.

Our gorgeous friend Sinead is going to be baptised which is so exciting. She is amazing and it has been a very humbling experience. I am in no ways a very good teacher, but it has been very rewarding to see how through fasting, prayer and scripture study, that we can truly see the spirit work miracles among us and His children.

Moreover, transfers will be next week, so as per usual, I will let you know what is happening. Here’s hoping that I’ll be able to continue to serve in Crewe. I love it here, and we know that I don’t deal well with moving areas… we shall see.

John 14:27:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Much love,
Sister Turnbull
