Hello beautiful people,
My beautiful friend, Lucia is now officially a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
There was such a strong spirit and a love in that room. Although I was only in Manchester for a short five weeks, I know that one of the reasons I was there was to meet Lucia and her mother, Matilda. I am beyond amazed that the Lord used Sister Keck, Sister Park and I, to bring these amazing souls closer to Christ. I am just so grateful that I had the opportunity to share a message that has truly changed my life for the better, and I know that it will continue to change theirs. Lucia will be so powerful in the church, and I can’t wait to be a witness to the many blessings that are in store for her and her family. In fact, I heard that Matilda has been dated for baptism which brings me so much joy ! I always knew that she would want to be baptised by priesthood authority after seeing her daughter make that step, but now that it is official, I cannot stop smiling. I may have taught them, but they have taught me so much more.
On a temporal note, I got my eyebrows done. Get this, it was at a retirement home. Enough said I’ll tell you the story another time.
Oh and it has been so f r e e z i n g that it snowed ! It was fun for the first five minutes, but then I realised that I would have to stay in it. Sister Fernandez once said, that as missionaries we can change the elements by our faith – so I am praying every day for sunshine. I’m still waiting for the miracle.
Much love,
Sister Turnbull
