Hello beautiful people,
I don’t have much time to write today as I have taken a trip to Newcastle, and no, it isn’t like the beautiful, sunny, town in New South Wales, Australia, in fact, it is quite dull. Again, I don’t blame the place, just the weather, but it’s nice to be able to celebrate Elder Zuniga and Elder Tuivai’s last Preparation Day as missionaries. They will be missed.
This week began with a Sisters Pday for those in the Newcastle-under-Lyme Zone. We had the closest thing to a film, we watched a YSA devotional with President and Sister Nelson. Side note: I would not recommend missionaries to watch it.
Ohhhhh, Sister Steele and I had an exchange in Wrekin with our Sister Training Leader and her companion, also known as Sister Fernandez and Sister Estamante. I honestly do not know how it occurred. I was convinced that it would be changed last minute, but I am grateful I could return to the area I began my mission and to be with my follow-up trainer and a good friend. Basically, if Sister Fernandez and I were able to be 1) reunited as companions, and 2) serve together again in Wrekin, anything is possible. It definitely was a once in a lifetime opportunity, as I don’t think my mission president will ever allow it again.
Also, this seven week transfer is coming to a close. Transfers are officially next week, so depending on what happens I may or may not email until Tuesday.
Much love,
Sister Turnbull
